more on COVID 19

Damaclesian steel.

Violent in movement, back and fro.

Set to create chaos as it swings

To watch, helpless, havoc wreaked.

The delicate balance, so fragile it seems,

disturbed, upended, uncertainty reigns.

Only memory recalls that all will be well

that equilibrium will return again.

The form is all gone, the foundations shaken

Routine displaced, anxiety rises.

Well-being challenged. To trust seems foreign,

ground down by uncertainty, fuelled by doubt.

Things that secure us peel away, leaf by leaf,

Pain at the loss, irrational, grief

To cling, impossible. Surrender!

Let it all go.

Hold to that which never changes.
