You knew His destiny, you said your ‘Yes’, not once, but for all time,
So, tell me now my Mother, too,

More than a Mother’s love so great,
two hearts that beat as one.
For you adored the child, the Christ
the first of all to come.
Your Sanctus was a lullaby,
Your Lauds a simple song
His name a Mother’s joyful creed
